💧Description: This soap is packed with two of the most skin nourishing oils: organic extra virgin olive oil and organic cocoa butter. But we didn't stop there. We also added four herbal ingredients that are scientifically proven to soothe and relieve eczema:
- organic powdered oatmeal
- organic aloe vera
- organic comfrey rootÂ
- organic calendula (marigold flower)
If you have a current eczema outbreak, this is a great bar to start with to allow the herbal additives to calm your skin. You can then consider switching to our Ultra-Moisturizing bar. Each of us has unique skin so which bar you prefer comes down to personal preference.
💧Exfoliation: Minimal, via the powdered herbs and marigold petals.Â
💧Ingredients (All Food-Grade): organic extra virgin olive oil, organic coconut oil, water, organic cocoa butter, sodium hydroxide*, organic castor oil, organic powdered oatmeal, organic aloe vera, organic comfrey root, organic calendula.  Â
*none remains in the final product because it reacts with the oils and turns into soap in a process called saponification. This is how all real soap is made. If it's not made via saponification, it's not real soap, it's a synthetic detergent.

My 2-year-old developed small red splotches on his legs, back and chest, which the pediatrician diagnosed as eczema. Having tried a few specialized topical creams, I then switched to using the SMOC eczema soap.
