organic rosemary flower extract - anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory; clinically proven to promote hair growth and scalp health.
And, of course, the base ingredient in this bar is organic extra virgin olive oil, which is highly moisturizing and packed with skin-nourishing vitamins E & K, plus antioxidants to protect the skin and hair from cellular damage.
*none remains in the final product because it reacts with the oils and turns into soap in a process called saponification. This is how all real soap is made. If it's not made via saponification, it's not real soap, it's a synthetic detergent.
I've been using this shampoo bar for over a year now and I love it because it keeps my hair soft, smooth, and shiny. I have naturally oily hair and when I first started using this shampoo bar, my hair became oilier at first. However, that’s no longer a problem. I’m in my 40s, and I’m glad my hair is smooth and healthy! It also puts my mind at ease knowing I'm not exposing myself to harmful chemicals.
I have thick, wiry ginger hair that's very finnicky and refuses to cooperate and always seems to react badly to harsh shampoos and conditioners. This shampoo is great because I feel like I can use it without fear of totally drying out my hair, which takes the guesswork out of washing my hair and I feel I can rest easy knowing it's free of all the toxic stuff in almost every hair product out there. For me, this really works.

I admit, I was very hesitant to go to a shampoo bar - alas, how silly it was for me to wait. I love this bar shampoo - for me, my hair & the earth. It is lightweight, lasts a long time, cleanses my hair in a smooth, wonderful way.

I'm shocked at how much I love this shampoo bar. I've been reluctant to try it, because other brand's bars I've tried in the past leave my hair flat. But SMOC shampoo bar keeps my hair looking great and FEELING healthy! No more plastic bottles for me.

I'm honestly surprised that i like this more than liquid shampoo but i do. Easier to use, lasts longer, no weird artifical smells ans colors and my hair looks good.
Never thought I'd like a shampoo bar this much, but here I am, lol! Love it. My hair now feels both clean and conditioned after a wash whereas with my old shampoo it just felt stripped. Plus I like their focus on chemical-free and they seem to really care about the environment.
Simplified my shower routine, stopped my scalp dryness, and eliminated all the chemicals that were going into my head. This bar is a win for me. I wash my hair 3x per week and i still use conditioner occasionally.
I love the scent. Even though it is unscented, it has a naturally amazing aroma. It is drying for curly hair, but I couldn’t be happier with how clean and safe the ingredients are. The body wash is phenomenal and I will definitely purchase more in the future.

Always had pretty bad dandruff but i read that moringa and rosemary could help. I also had a suspicion that all the chemicals in all the stuff i was using was drying out myscalp. So i started using this bar 2 months ago and lo and behold my dandruff is gone. Wish I'd found this sooner but better late than never.
Never used a shampoo bar before but I honestly like it better cuz its easier to use and lasts longer plus my very dry scalp is way less dry now after just a few weeks.
It lathers very well, better than I expected, but it leaves my hair feeling really sticky and greasy when I rinse it. I can't run my fingers through my hair while I'm lathering up because it's so sticky it pulls my hair out (more than the normal amount that comes out during a washing). I use a conditioner with it to detangle my hair and reduce the stickiness. (sounds counterintuitive but it works) Once it's dry, it doesn't feel sticky anymore and actually feels quite soft. But I can't really comb or touch my hair until it's dry. Just for reference, I have fine, dry, curly hair that likes to frizz easily. I have been experiencing hair loss so I'm going to stick with the shampoo bar because I really like the ingredients and am so happy to find a product that doesn't have all the junk in it. I've found a way to deal with the "stickiness" when it's wet. I'd rather deal with the stickiness and have all natural ingredients than to use a shampoo with chemicals. I suppose that's the trade off.
I've been using this bar for my hair for quite a while but based on a recommendation from a friend, decided to try this bar for shaving my legs instead of the canned shaving cream I was using. Wow! So glad I switched because this is soooo much better, more moisturizing, simpler. and cheaper. People really need to try this bar.
Better than I was expecting! Probably the best shampoo or shampoo bar that I've ever used. I have curly, kinda dry hair. I also have less scalp dryness since I started using this.
It honestly relaxes my mind to know that I'm not putting chemicals into my scalp any more. Really wish I'd found this bar sooner. Works so well and it's totaly natural and organic.
Suds well and leaves my thin fine hair feeling fuller and softer but also clean. Unscented but has a bit of a mild herbal smell that I like. Very happy with this.
After using this bar for 2 weeks, for the first time ever, my sensitive itchy scalp stopped being irritated and calmed down and even stopped flaking. Couldn't believe it. Been about 9 months now and still going strong so this is my new shampoo. I'm in my 60's so it took a while to find something that worked but so glad I did.

I love my scent-free shampoo bar; I actually use the same bar for full body shower. Far less foam for shampoos and showers, meaning far less water needed to rinse. A win for both me and our environment!
